Now Summer has come to an end,and Fall has officially started. Here recommend top 5 eye shadow colors for autumn.
PLUM
Very complimentary and a beautiful alternative to the typical neutral shade, plum can look lovely when worn as an all over smoky eye. Here though, the plum (MAC Sketch eye shadow) is used in the crease area, along with a strong metallic gold lid color (MAC Woodwinked eye shadow). Along the bottom lash line is a complimentary deep purple (MAC Fig. 1 eye shadow) with a black liquid liner along the top lash line. An added touch of sparkle (NYX Gold Candy Glitter Liner) was applied over the gold as well.
CHOCOLATE BROWN
A deep chocolate brown is great for an accent color, to tone down an otherwise bold look, or even to bring neutrality to an eye shadow you may otherwise never wear. It can also be used to create an eye catching smoky eye. For this look, a chocolate brown with a slight shimmer was used as a wash all over the eye lid and blended up into the crease of the eye. Black eye shadow was used to smudge along the top and bottom lashes while a soft golden eye shadow was used to highlight the brow bone.
TEAL
Teal is a great way to add that touch of pizzazz to your autumn eye shadow wardrobe. A cooler tone than the typical fall color, teal can be a beautiful eye catcher. In this look, a shimmering brown surrounds a true teal eye shadow (MAC Teal pigment), taking an otherwise bold and bright look, and making it soften and smolder. Over the teal, a touch of glitter (Urban Decay Distortion Glitter Liner) was added to bring a little sparkle to the look; gorgeous for an evening out.
GOLD
On its own or paired with other colors, gold is always a gorgeous, universal color choice for all. The Too Faced Natural Eye Palette was used to create this soft gold eye. Here, the gold is kept on the lid while the chocolate brown is used to add definition to the crease and also smudged along the top and bottom lashed. With a skin toned, matte highlight color, this look is kept subtle enough for the day but is dramatic for night as well.
BLACK
Black is wonderful for adding definition and depth to any eye look or creating a smoky eye with other eye shadow colors. For this look though, it was used to its full dramatic potential with a nearly all black smoky eye. A matte black was applied to the lid as well as along the lower lash line. To blend out the black and soften the edges, other matte browns and skin toned colors blended gradually above the strong lid color into a skin toned matte highlight color.
This week Ella highly recommend the bendable eyewear and unisex eyewear.
