Nyctalopia

I hate the dark night, and say nothing about walking in the dark night. Many people hate night is because that they feel un-safe in the dark, or maybe they have watched too many horrible movies. Frankly speaking, I like many things related to dark, such as the black color, or the black films. According to the logic, I should like black night. However, the fact makes me upset—I hate night, because I am suffering from nyctalopia. What is nyctalopia? According to its literal meaning, we can deduce, that is, our vision in the black or dark environment is bad or we can not see anything in such an environment. If we understand the physical process of acclimation, we can know that the basic reason of nyctalopia is the retinal rod cells lacks the raw materials to synthesize rhodopsin or rod-shaped cells are in their lesions. If you suffer from the nyctalopia, you can not do anything you want as in the daytime.

First, I should explain why I am suffered from nyctalopia, lest that some you caught by it. It begins from my childhood. When I am a kid, I hate vegetables and fruit, and the carrot is one of my enemies in the dinner, and I will find ways to get rid of them. So the content of your diet is very important for your eyes. Both the doctor and my parents keep asking me to eat more food, such as pig’s liver, carrot and eggs which can supply you with more vitamin A. In fact, it is the lack of vitamin A that our body does not have enough raw materials to synthesize the rhodopsin. To sum up, the priority of our task to fight against nyctalopia is the balanced diet, vitamin A in particular. Often the foods you do not like contain the important vitamin you lack. In addition, the delicious apple is also the best choice to get rid of nyctalopia.

Second is the sport. To any disease, sport is absolutely the most effective method. You should not keep staying in the inside place, instead, you should do more walking in the outside. At least, to come into contact with the sunlight, the nature is good for your health. And when you are healthy, with that your eyes will be better. If you are sure that you are healthy, the next thing you should notice is the sanitation. Personal sanitation is as important as the personal diet habit, and it is also a long-term task.

Trust me that nyctalopia is an irritating eye disease. If you do not have any relation with it, recheck your life habit including your diet and sporting time; or you need to buy a pair of night-vision goggles.
