Besides, care about the use of disposable contact lens. Do not use daily disposable type as bi-weekly disposable type, or use bi-weekly type as monthly type, in order to extend the period of use. This behavior is quite harmful to the cornea. Moreover, do not soak the lens in the lotion for a long time. The lotion can gradually lose its sterilization strength, and then become a hotbed for breeding bacteria. Hence, those who not frequently wear contact lens can replace the soaking liquid every two days; while before wearing, be sure to sterilize and cleanse again.
Third, lens cannot be stored in physiological salt water, because the physiological salt water do not has the function of sterilization. Hence, if to put lens in such water, it is easy to promote the growth of bacteria, and then infect wear’s eyes.
Four, the lens box need to clean up at least once a week, and replace every three months, avoiding becoming a hotbed for breeding bacteria. Generally, using cotton ball dipped cleaning liquid to clean the inside of the box, then putting the box under the hot water with 79 ℃ or more to disinfect, lastly dry it. Do not put lens box in the bathroom, for it easily gets mildewed in the moist room.
Five, do not wear contact lens when swimming because chlorine, bacteria, impurities, and other thighs will adhere to the contact lens, which can injure cornea or cause eye infection, even cause corneal ulcer. Hence, remember this point for your eye health.
